Breaking Barriers 5K for the Lindsey House

Tulsa, OK

The Lindsey House is a transitional living space for ladies with children who are experiencing situational homelessness. In addition to providing families a fully-furnished apartment, women participate in a series of curriculum focused on financial literacy, workplace proficiency and life skills.

Activate Oklahoma has partnered with The Lindsey House to tailor a 'couch to 5K' program to reduce the anxiety and overcome challenges that busy families face to starting an exercise regimen. Not only are we working to help the ladies and their children get fit and healthy and achieve goals but we have also created this event to be able to give back directly to the Lindsey House.
